  1. Very interesting.
I was looking for something similar. I use ubuntu studio 14.04 tried to isntall the driver but I get this error:
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `/usr/src/linux-headers-3.13.0-24-lowlatency/arch/x86/syscalls/syscall_32.tbl’, needed by `arch/x86/syscalls/../include/generated/uapi/asm/unistd_32.h’. Stop.
    make[1]: *** [archheaders] Error 2
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-3.13.0-24-lowlatency’
    make: *** [default] Error 2

Does this means is only for 32bit?

    • Hello,

I didn’t test 14.04 yet, but 32 bits or 64 bits shouldn’t be the problem here
Make sure you have the ‘build-essential’ and ‘linux-headers-3.13………’ packets installed
Also, The response time of the launchpad is too slow for a LowLatency or Realtime kernel so light will not work with my driver (I didn’t find a way to make them work on LL and RT kernels)

  2. Hi this driver works excellent on my debian x86 , however trying to install it on my arm Odroid U3 running Ubuntu 14.04 it cannot install. Should the driver work for arm microcomputers or does it need to be cross-compiled?

    • Hello, I never tested it on ARM, but IMO it should work, my installer compile before installing, make sure you have all the compilation packages (like linux headers, or build-essential).
Otherewise, don’t hesitate to send me the errors you have when you are trying to install it

    • Anybody would use this to do exactly what they want with the hardware (which is the purpose of a driver)
If you don’t need it, don’t use it.
